Hi Justine,

I stumbled over here after MacBreak Weekly. The one question I have about all these social sites is what do you do if you’re like me and the vast majority of your friends aren’t very “2.0″?

I mean, I’m on twitter but no one will read it, I’d use Google Talk but no one I know uses it (the few friends I do have that IM still use MSN *sigh* - it is handy for updating twitter though), and so on.

virb looks cool but I’m worried I’d just be floating out there in the ether, all alone, again.

Gotta say though that I love the site. It’s so …. shiny!

@ smp : I agree with you. I run into the same problems also. Alot of my “friends” really aren’t that 2.0 either.

Surprisingly, I’ve managed to convert a few over to virb thus far, so it’s just a slow process.. but don’t worry, I’ll be your friend anywhere! Not that that will make up for it or anything haha.

Again, I know what you’re coming from. I believe there are maybe 4 people on my twitter friends list that is even from this side of my state. Tragic.

I’ll give Virb a proper look-see over the next few days. I have too many presences (is that even a word?) and I’m thinking of consolidating and I’m tired of Blogger so who knows? Maybe Virb is the answer… (then again, maybe the eternal search for the answer will be more fun than the answer itself - oops, accidentally philosophical there. Bit deep for a Friday really)
