Hey! I’m updating from McCallion’s iPhone! Its a beautiful thing!

Well, it’s over. The floods of people have made their rounds, purchased their iPhones and are probably home by now charging their love phones. This was by far quite an amazing event.

Oh, sure.. It’s the iPhone, so naturally it must cost more to own! According to this Business 2.0 blog entry with the just a basic contract, data and 4gig model, you’re looking at a cost of $2,218.12 for two years.

I’m willing to bet most PDA and smartphone users are paying well over that — we just rarely sit down and figure out the yearly cost. Perhaps it’s best we keep it that way?

During most of today I noticed an abundance of Twitters mentioning Neil Gorman, toasters, and PAB2007. I wasn’t in front of a computer so I just kept in the back of my mind until I got home.
