HEADING HOME

I had an awesome vacation (away from the internet, even though I didn’t have much of a choice). It was great spending time with my family because it’s never easy getting us all together at home. We’re all on such opposite schedules that’s it’s quite a rarity to be in the same place at the same time.
Right now I’m sitting in a hotel room in Virgina typing this entry listening to my latest addiction: Bon Jovi. I must get every album upon my return to the ‘burgh. It’s good to have goals.

..and yes, that is a photo I took in the car of Bon Jovi on the radio. Let me tell you, North Carolina radio stations have all the hits.
Speaking of goals, everyone continually asks me what’s next and I never seem to have a definite answer. Thinking short term and acting on impulse is usually how I do things, but it’s not always ideal. I keep setting goals and missing them by changing focus, which leads me down a completely different path.
Having had an entire week slightly disconnected from technology and the internet — it’s given me quite a lot of time to think. I’m ready to be back and stay focused.
Curse you internet, for being to tantalizing and full of distractions.
