What do you do when your facebook profile is full?! Well, I’m not a 100% sure what you do (other than cry) but you could start by getting a PAGE! … I guess. If you weren’t aware, facebook caps friends at 5,000.

If you haven’t noticed or failed to read any blogs that covered the launch this past week, facebook pages allows everyone (not just individuals) to create pages on the network.

What’s also great is their new built-in advertising feature and statistics. It allows for a pretty powerful reach using targeted demographic advertising within the site. You can choose to advertise your facebook page or an external website. You can also create your own ads with set a daily budget.

I don’t think that is very fair. Does this also mean that politicians cannot have more than 5,000 friends? So much for gaining support from social networking sites..

Just a thought. I was looking for your 5000-friend-filled Facebook profile and didn’t know your last name, so I searched iJustine and got three other hits. BUT… there’s a field in the Relationships section of the profile called “Alternate (Maiden) Name” where you could drop that iJustine moniker to make it easier for folks like me to find you.
