New Season of LOST

Posted at 1:17 am | 19 comments

Ahh January 31st — Season 4 of LOST begins! 8/7c

In honor of the new season, I’m reposting this old video from last year that I made with a can of Dharma peas from the set. How did I get them? Well, Michael stole them for me while he was in Hawaii. Shhhh…

I began looking for a Season 3 recap to get ready and found this HILARIOUS mock of the entire season. I do suggest you click this link and laugh along with me.

Who else will be watching this season?!

New Twitter Error Screen

Aww, twitter is doing some site upgrades and here is their new cute little error screen.

I was growing quite attached to the dead upside-down bird below.

At first I was extremely excited about this new feature on Facebook. Then I clicked.

Granted I would love to ignore ALL requests but including in that is friend requests!!! I don’t want to ignore those since I can only add people when someone deletes me due to Facebook capping their friends.

Speaking of people deleting me on Facebook — I’ve been receiving emails that say I’m using it too much and they can no longer be friends with me. Here are a few messages that I found humoring:

Message #1:
“Listen, Justine… I don’t know you and I’ve never met you. But here’s the thing, I see you’re name on my “feed” everytime I log on to facebook.. Honestly it’s starting to bother me. Can we keep the facebook activity to a minimum?”

Message #2:
“Dear Justine-
Sorry to do this but I must de-facebook friend you. You keep clogging up my news feed, and I find your obsession with the Internet non-sensical and without value.

I hope um… we can remain friends - no pun intended.”

Well, if you think I’m using Facebook too much, perhaps you should just start using it a little more to catch up!

UPDATE!
“Some guy” thinks I’m being too quiet! ha ha:

“Dear Justine,

Your feed seems to be getting quieter these days.
Please do more stuff on facebook because when my facebook friends do stuff, I feel like I am doing stuff too by association (when in reality, I’m sitting on the computer in my underwear drinking beer and eating way too many peanuts that my bowels can stand).

Yours Truly,
Some guy.”

TOM GREEN

Posted at 5:24 am | 28 comments

Brooke and I on Tom Green! We found out Carson was the guest and figured we’d call in to say hi.

So.. I started to play World of Warcraft. I was a little curious. The deal was J. Lynn would try Blockles and I’d try WoW, being that those were both of our game additions.

Well, I finally had a few free minutes which turned into hours.. which then turned into hours of free time I really didn’t have to waste. But I did it anyway.

I have a lot to learn, but I’m slowly becoming less of a n00b each day. To those few people who took the time to email yell at me for using the arrow keys: I know, I know. I’m sorry. WASD!

Canon SD850 Pooped

Posted at 5:17 am | 14 comments

..or was pooped on by a huge pile of Junior Mints. As the days went on, the mints slowly settled their way into my camera and began eating away at it’s insides.

Thankfully, I haven’t even had this camera a month so I was able to return it without any question.

Best Buy — I love you.

Venice Beach is always quite the adventure. You’re never really sure what will happen, who you’ll run into or what little random treats you might find along the way.

These are a few of the things I found on todays expedition. Here is the pier. I found it laying there all alone. I’m not sure how it go there. perhaps it just floated up?

Next up is a small girl that I found taking photos. Her name was Brooke. She is cool. We talked for awhile then I pushed her into the ocean. I think she can swim so it was okay. I found her later uploading photos to flickr. I guess she made. I’m glad because she is fun.

After walking a few more feet down the beach, I got a little thirsty. Good thing I found this Capri Sun!

Today Brent and Michelle had a baby (congrats, btw :) ). Only on Venice Beach can you find a beautiful toy for a newborn!

After all this walking, I needed a place to hang my jacket because it was starting to get a little warm. Little did I know that my wishes would soon be granted with this beautiful red hanger.

Dinner was now approaching.. I like soup and I will be using this spoon to eat my soup.

Nothing would be more complete than a dirty diaper. Don’t worry, I found one of those too.

Last but not least — After all that walking I surely needed some deodorant.

..and that was my trip to Venice today. All photos were taken with my iPhone, yo!

So, Cloverfield was pretty good.

When Junior Mints attack.. it’ll look a little something like this.

Out of all the things in my purse that it could have clung to it chose my poor little camera and iPhone charger. Quite possibly one of the more sad days.
