Virgin America

Posted at 3:54 am | 28 comments

I’ve about had it with the airlines. I travel quite extensively and have wasted more time sitting around waiting.. and waiting.. and waiting for flights for various reasons. I know I’m not the only one!!

I’m so mad at you right now, Virgin America.

Macbook Air

Posted at 4:08 am | 20 comments

Ahh, the beautiful little Macbook Air. It’s actually quite impressive. Although I do have the same fears that many are also having: Is this this next Cube? Who knows.. Guess we’ll see.

Either way, it’s pretty neat and I’d suggest checking it out.

It comes standard with an 80 gig hard drive (upgrade to a 64GB SSD), 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. 13.3 LED display, iSight, 5 hours of battery life, USB 2.0, it also has a micro-DVI port that supports DVI, VGA, composite, and S-video output!! Oh, and it weights about 3lbs :)

SKULL CANDY [ watch video ]
This was the first booth you were forced to noticed while walking into Moscone West — Blaring music with a live DJ plus their massive line of creatively decorated headphones line the walls of the booth. Sweet.

METRO NAPS [ watch video ]
Metronaps partnering with the peaceful sounds of pzizz brings us a nap-pod station to retreat to for a 20 minute nap (or longer?!).

URBAN JUNKET [ watch video ]
The amount of things I cram in my purse on a daily basis is ridiculous. I know I’m not the only female that has issues of walking into a retail store in hopes of finding a laptop carrying bag that’s somewhat stylish. Urban Junket to the rescue!

JOBY [ watch video ]
New bluetooth headset with extendable mic that will increase audio quality — since it’s not available yet, I also checked out the gorillapod which is perfect for mounting your camera pretty much anywhere and everywhere. If I told you I bought a pink one, would you be surprised?

ZAP CAR [ watch video ]
Zap manufactures and distributes electric cars and they can also power your iPods, iPhones, and… fly. If you have an extra $99,000 laying around you can buy this little creation.

GELASKINS [ watch video ]
Removable artwork for your iPhones, iPods and Macbooks! They have a huge selection of beautiful covers that you can switch out as often as you want. In addition, they have free downloadable wallpapers to match! I’m stocking up.

JOHN LENNON BUS TOURS [ watch video: part 1 // part 2 ]
This is a non-profit recording studio that allows students to learn to write, record and create their own music and videos as they tour the country. This would be my ideal home.

Pingie

Do you know how much I love SMS? Oh, wait.. Yeah you do. Did you know I also love RSS? Yep, love that as well. Chances are that you do too!

Perfect.

Then definitely check out pingie. It’s a new little creation by uneasysilence (which might be one of the first RSS feeds I ever subscribed to).

Whenever your favorite feed is updated, you’ll be sent a text message alert letting you know there’s some new content. Mmmm.. More ways to be constantly connected. Love it.

Feel free to test it out using my feed if you’d like:

Now, excuse me while I get my feeds ready for Macworld!!

CES VIDEOS

Posted at 4:29 am | 7 comments

I’ve returned from CES with a ton of footage and photos of… well, everything. I basically ran around like a crazy person because I only had one day to try to see everything.

If you’ve been to CES then you’ll know that is just about impossible. I think even if you’ve there the entire week you will won’t be able to see everything! Here’s a few videos from Digital Experience: the pre-CES press event. I’ll have the other videos up and online tomorrow!

Digital Experience Overview

So many awesome random things! ..and to think, this isn’t anything compared to the actual show floor of CES.

New Talkshoe

Posted at 1:26 pm | 5 comments

If you haven’t heard, talkshoe just released their new web application yesterday! This is really exciting because now you won’t have to download the talkshoe client.

We tested it out lastnight on an impromptu chatfest and things went fairly well. You still have the option of using the classic version which works great in Leopard now!

You can have up to 250 callers and even non-talkshoe members are able to participate in the text chat.

Get ready to test it out on the next chatfest [most Sundays at 9p EST] and even feel free to start your own shows. It’s pretty simple and… awesome :)
