Michael on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmCome on, Justine, the bird was already dead; you didn’t have to kill it a second time!
shawnscript on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pm“You’re going to get a bird disease!!!” Lulz, indeed.
applepie on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmRIP little birdy.
It probably flew into the door’s window and killed its self. You sure it was dead at first? Sometimes they just get knocked out and seem dead. But I’m sure after that “gentle” toss you gave it finished it off.
ijustine on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pm@applepie: Please don’t tell me that hahahaha
He was pretty dead. I’m sure of it!!
David Michaels on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmMaybe I’m just overreacting, but instead of throwing the bird in the yard, should it have been buried? No offense.
Scotty on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmHaha awh justine you killed him…
Bless ya…
Yeah he looked dead already *rolling eyes*
but you were good.. you tried saving him!!!
You always make me laugh!
love you justine!
Megan on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmPoor birdie. Dying and then being thrown! :[
LESLIEx317537 on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmVery strange handling of a dead animal. Kinda reminds me of a cat playing with a bird Justine.
I’m curious on how the bird died. Probably West Nile.
Unless it’s an airborne virus, you should be fine.
But FYI many birds carry pathogens that affect the respiratory system. I hope you didn’t inhale any feathers.
cl191 on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmi can see this now: “PA woman threw bird off a cliff”….going to be a big hit just like the “US marines threw puppy off cliff” video….
but seriously, you probably don’t want to touch a dead bird, who knows what kind of nasty stuff it got, like bird flu or something….
Jay on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmWhat?!? But I thought repeatedly poking any dead animal brought it back to life!
Calla Flower on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmi hope you dont get bird flu.
LESLIEx317537 on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmYou should wear gloves and bag it and bring it to a local wildlife area where they can test it for diseases.
Here’s more information about how to handle dead birds - http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvbid/westnile/qa/wnv_birds.htm
Tina on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmANIMAL CRUELITY…. YOUR SICK PERSON JUSTINE. SOMEDAY THAT BIRD WILL HUNT YOU. DON’T YOU REMEMBER THE MOVIE THE BIRDS.
Also nice house your mom has she must be rich I bet and that’s why justine you never worked full-time in a real company before.
The Dentist on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmSo your idea of a fun video is mutilating a “dead” bird? And you other commenter’s are encouraging this behavior? I can’t even begin to list all the things wrong with that; psychologically, morally and ethically…
Michael on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmI’ve been an ijustine fan for about a year now but I do not agree with what I just saw.
Scotty on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmawh then the poor bird was burnt!!
Lol!!
Poor birdie… what justine, what was the birds name?!!?!?
THe big man j-killa on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmUmmm yeah all you’re doing is poking a dead bird
Duujo on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmYeah, i found throwing around a dead bird a little strange, too… I can laugh at pretending to make it fly by spreading it’s wings, but tossing it around a few times for… for whatever reason didn’t sit too well with me. So far i’d thought you’re great!
iSpenc on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmI find that very disturbing…
Chris Magnusson on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmHoly crap you have a big yard! Who’s the unfortunate soul that gets to mow it?
codeMonkey on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmMaybe try little bird-sized electric paddles next time.
PS I love how over dramatic some of the comments are.
ijustine on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmTina, I’ve had a lot of jobs. Thankfully I managed to get enough clients through them to not have to go to an office everyday.
Jeff McCord on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmPretty Bird, pretty bird… pretty bird, pretty bird.
Love the comments… you just lost about 30000000000000 fans.
[blank stare]
wafflejuice on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmCountdown to this video and blog post mysteriously disappearing like the one about the Dan Dobi tattoo video parody. Never underestimate the ability of people to overreact.
Michael Johnston on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmI really hope you washed your hands, although I’m sure your mom probably told you to already. :]
Koka on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmWow…you gave CPR to the bird then threw it off the door steps. I’m calling animal rescue.
cl191 on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmmay be next time when twitter goes down, we should call you to give the dead twitter bird cpr.
Matt on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmJustine… you’re sick…. just sick. I knew I liked you.
(the real) Michael on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmDon’t worry about those nay-sayers. You didn’t kill the bird. You didn’t torture the bird. The bird was dead and it helped provide entertainment for the internet.
Don Reynolds on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmI can’t help but picture what your reaction would have been if the bird had indeed only been unconscious and came to in your hand! Now that would have been funny!
bcguy on Apr 13th 2008 at 2:21 pmiJustine, you killed Twitter!
TweetTees on Apr 14th 2008 at 2:21 pmand now… a moment of silence.
” ”
wow, that was quite an effort.

shylie743 on Apr 14th 2008 at 2:21 pmI gasped a few times while watching this. I can’t believe you touched it without gloves and then threw it off your porch.
P.S. I probably would’ve done the same thing.
LaneVids on Apr 14th 2008 at 2:21 pmReminds me of the King of the Hill episode with the Whooping Crane. Bobby says something like: “But we must bury his body so that his spirit lives on”
And Hank says: “And we will do that in the dumpster behind Stucky’s”!
HA! Poor Birdy though
Liz on Apr 14th 2008 at 2:21 pmYou know, I’ve never really commented on anything you’ve done even though I follow you in all the social networking sites. I think you’re great. You’re funny, a geek and yes, everyone thinks you’re adorable.
I know this is what you do. You joke, you make fun of things…and I know you didn’t kill the bird. I’m not going to scream animal cruelty. I’m not going to start boycotting you.
Yet, I’m still bothered that you were throwing the dead bird around. If the bird had been someone’s pet, would you have reacted the same way?
This might not mean very much to you at all, since you have no idea who I am, but after watching that video I’ve lost a little respect for you. And I know your die-hard fans will support you in whatever you do, and they will probably call me an idiot or a loser and I, frankly, don’t want to deal with that, but I felt I had to say something.
There’s funny everywhere, Justine. I wish you could have found it somewhere else.
LaLaFuFu dotcom on Apr 15th 2008 at 2:21 pmDEAD BIRD!!! Gonna throw it on you!!!!!
DEAD BIRD!!! Gonna throw it on you!!!!!
DEAD BIRD!!! Gonna throw it on you!!!!!If death that bird meant way more to all of us then he did in life. iJustine, rock on rockstar…
Lee on Apr 16th 2008 at 2:21 pmI hope nobody throws my corpse around like that. That actually made me quite depressed, Justine.
Lee on Apr 16th 2008 at 2:21 pmThat’s some poor bird’s mum. Think of how sad you were while watching Bambi, Justine. Now imagine the hunter throwing the mum around! That’s what you did Justine, THAT’S WHAT YOU DID!
benjamin on Apr 16th 2008 at 2:21 pmThis video actually ammused me a fair bit, probably a little disrespectful to the bird but I doubt he will be logging on any time soon.
Nyli on Apr 16th 2008 at 2:21 pmI just lost all respect for you because you disrespected that bird. Why did you have to throw it? Why couldn’t you just bury it in the garden? Would you like to have your body thrown around by some giant and made fun of because you are dead?
jbradfordtaraski on Apr 16th 2008 at 2:21 pmomg! I SHOULD REPORT YOU TO PETA!
That’s so disrespectful to the bird! It’s a dead animal!
Don’t torture it! How would you feel if a creature played with your dead corpse in 80 years? Hmm?
Anywho, congrats on touching a dead thing! I hope you washed your hands afterwards!
maxpage on Apr 16th 2008 at 2:21 pmi thought it was pretty funny.
i tried to save a bird once.
but it was alive, just trapped in my house.
he attacked me.
i punched it as it flew.
it died.
X.x
funny video though:D
Alisha on Apr 17th 2008 at 2:21 pmI was a little disturbed, but more shocked when you threw the dead bird. When you picked it up by its wing I thought you were going to bury it, but you threw it.
I wonder though, would everyone still feel the same way if it was a mouse instead of a bird?
Hope you don’t lose too many fans, Justine. Were you drinking before you did it?
Todd on Apr 18th 2008 at 2:21 pmThis was just great , I was laughing my ass off. I would do the same thing!! This cracked me up soo much. Come people it was a DEAD BIRD!! I totally saw the humour in this. I have taken may birds on thier “last flight” You ROCK Justine!!! Keep em coming and we’ll see you in Hollywood!!
Dean on May 4th 2008 at 2:21 pmWow Justine… from your twitters, I’d never have thought you were like that. And yet… I officially love you. That was amazing. I love your attempts to try and make the bird “fly” near the end.
ps-I hope you washed your hands after that though.
