I got a $40 dollar cotton candy maker from Target if you recall me telling you that on Talkshoe.
But mine doesn’t work as well as the industrial units like above.

And I never knew that in the US candy floss was called cotton candy! Actually, I prefer the US name, “candy floss” always makes me think of “dental floss”.

Although you guys have probably got another name for that as well!

I was sure I could smell cotton candy this morning when I was walking to the bus. It’s called sukkerspinn in Norwegian, it translates the same as the Dutch word.

The Dutch Suikerspin literally translated is sugar spider
However spiders are called spin in Dutch because they, well, spin webs, so I’m hoping the origins of the word are actually ‘Spun sugar’ rather than sugar spider…

In swedish it is called Sockervadd.
