Yesterday some of you may have noticed that I accidentally spammed twitter with a few links to some nonsensical posts of large text and driving in cars.. Well, that was link to this new little site called Posterous.

I was actually just testing it out and jumped the gun by putting in my twitter account before reading what would happen. Oops! …and out went a few linkies!

Posterous is kind of a mix between tumblr and twitter.. but it does just a little more. They have little preset emails that you can send things to (text, photos, etc) that will then syndicate out to your chosen social networks.

Right now they only have a few such as twitter, flickr, tumblr, blogger, wordpress, moveable type, typepad, livejournal and xanga. Rumor has it, facebook will be up next

Of course, if you just want to type a normal entry you can do that just as you would with any web-based text editor. The best part though, they have a shortcode 41411 to SMS updates to!

Yes, I know.. just what we need — another social networking site. *shrug* Maybe I just have a soft spot for post-it notes and simplistic UI’s.

Hello everyone! I honestly have not even been in front of my computer the entire time I’ve been in Vegas. The conference is amazing and I’ve met a ton of AMAZING people. Above Greg, Djsteen, me, AJ, Joely, and Justin (photo by Lisa!) are sporting the awesome iJustine t-shirts. They went pretty fast.. We’ll have more soon

Anyways, it was great seeing everyone who I’ve been talking to online for the past year in real life. A big surprise today also — Rachel flew in last minute from Texas to get here!!!! Thanks to her viewers for hooking her up with donations to make that happen.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Facebook (loved?).. but it just DOESN’T WORK properly. Maybe it’s because I have too many friends.. but don’t worry. I haven’t even been able to access my friend request page in the past few months. You know, Facebook doesn’t want you to have more than 5,000 of those so let’s just !@#$ up the approval option for you!

I can’t even tell you the last time I’ve actually been able to log into my friend requests page to even view the list. Oh you want to do that? Too bad! Here’s a little error to tide you over until the next time you try to use me.

The mobile iPhone website used to be a lot better than the actual website. You can now only view one single page of requests on the mobile site. Seems as though they’ve ditched that version to work on their really less than amazing iPhone application. Let’s not even go there..

At least the quick load time makes up for their massive amounts of error screens. Oh wait.. sometimes it doesn’t even load. Most of the time I can’t even get to the login screen without seeing an error. Is it just me? Hmm? Or is Facebook trying to sabotage my social networking experience?!!

Waaa Waaaa waaaaaa.

Nice new layout, though.. *ahem*

Hey guys! I’m heading out to the New Media Expo with my pals at Viddler. We’re going to be handing out t-shirts with our logos on them to help promote Viddler’s new “Brand Yourself” initiative.

Yes, there will be a very limited supply of ijustine t-shirts.. so if you’re there and want one, let me know ahead of time and I will try to save you one!

As you can see, I have a new little logo in the lower third. Viddler not only allows you to upload your own logo, but you can even customize the player color to your liking. Not gonna lie, I’m still a fan of the classic black Right now I’m testing out the light pink! Yeah!

You can find these options in settings under “Player Branding”.

Also, be sure to upload your intro video to the NME site! Tag any of your viddler videos with “newmediaexpo2008″ or “newmediaexpo” and they’ll show up on the site.

Went to the taping of tonight’s Jay Leno show! The guests were Connor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band….. and Jack Black!

Of course, I couldn’t resist pulling the old “what’s your favorite treat” card when I met Jay and Jack afterwards (yes, we are now on a first name basis).

The show was pretty fun and Connor Oberst was great. I was never huge Bright Eyes fan until I heard his new stuff with The Mystic Valley Band. My friend Nik Freitas is playing guitar for them and I checked out a free show yesterday at Ameoba Records:

I wasn’t actually going to blog this video, but then I thought — hey, why not?

LA is amazing for the simple fact that they have more icecream trucks roaming around than any other city I’ve ever been to (maybe because it’s always hot here?). What’s special though, is I think these trucks actually have built-in ESP — every time I think “Man, I want a treat” one will show up.

I’m not going to start documenting every icecream truck experience. Stay tuned.
