I did a double take when I saw that slide originally. I always got bitched at by my parents for using the word “funnest” and now Steve Jobs is using it?! Blasphemy!

As for the new Nanos, they’re pretty and clean! I prefer long over chubby…The shape of the Nano, of course! The only feature that I think might tickle some bones is the “Shack to Shuffle” addition. Yes, it’s cute and all, but as some have pointed out, it might be too sensitive and shuffle while doing daily activities. If Apple was smart enough to lower the sensitivity, then people will look stupid shaking their iPods. It’s a loose/loose.

Oh well! I’m just excited for the iPhone Firmware on Friday!

It was pretty a boring keynote IMO, except for when Jack Johnson came out. I’ve seen him in concert and he Rocks.

Nothing for me to buy. They need a biking app or Nike+ function for bikers.

iTunes 8 Genius mixes are pretty cool though.

Funnest is one of those words that everybody thinks isn’t a word and everyone is told not to use. It is though. It just sounds weird. Gaming still seems like an odd market for the ipod.

iJustine, do you know if the “shake-2-shuffle” feature will be added to the iPod Touch in an upcoming firmware version?

I was sleepily watching the keynote last night before bed. Lots of announcements!

I thought the same thing when I heard “the most funnest ipod” come out of his mouth! It sounds odd!

But the rainbow of nanos are very cute. Can’t wait til I get into an Apple store to play with it.

Eeeh. I’m thinking that shake to shuffle is going to be the problem child. I run with mine, I’m sure that bouncing around while running would set it off, and I hate locking/un-locking it mid-run.

Oh, and my favorite word is funestest. Not at all a real word, but if you’re going to be grammatically incorrect, do it with FLAIR!

I think it’s a little disappointing that the grammer was not checked before the stevenote. Maybe Steve approves all of apple’s grammer?

I think we all agree that funnest isn’t a word and we all got yelled at when we were little for using it.

The new iPod Nanos isn’t something I’m going to run out and buy right now. I’m quite satisfied with my current gen Nano, although I think the shake to shuffle feature would be nice.

The only thing I’m interested in is the new 2.1 iPhone firmware update Friday.

I hate being a nitpick but you said, “Nike+ is built-in to the new touch and nano’s - maybe I’ll work out now”, but unfortunately it’s not built into the nano’s only the touch. Which makes me sad.

Apple already set a precedent in apparent grammatical misspeak. Remember the “Think Different.” campaign? Very successful. I believe it launched the iMac 10 years ago during MacWorld SF.

Funnest or funniest! It’s cool! Should Apple try and rewrite that word….i think we should make movement we all agree funniest sounds better.

the one thing that made my day is the new settings for podcasts that you subscribe to. being able to choose wich podcasts I want to keep and wich ones should be deleted when there is a new one out is the one thing thats been bugging the hell out of me with the old iTunes.

ha ha another nano? steve make up your mine up and should have added speakers in the first place. Another way for him pocket money.

Funnest is eight characters. The most fun is twelve characters. The four extra characters is the only reason I can think of for using funnest in place of the most fun, and even then only in character-limited environments such as Twitter.

Seven! Not eight! I can count, really! Funniest, however, is eight characters. Would you believe I was thinking of funniest rather than the non-word funnest?

All in all, lamest keynote I can remember. Nano refresh is essentially what many MP3 player makers have been doing for awhile (my Insignia NS-DV2G is several years old now) and this ‘Genius’ business is not some amazing feature Apple has to put in everything.

I’ll wait until the iPod touch gets a GPS chip before getting excited.

I’m concerned about how the Shake To Shuffle feature will effect those who listen to their Nano while jumping rope. I’d test it out, but I don’t plan on buying a Nano, and, as my physique clearly shows, I avoid exercise like the plague.

that post right there is a reason of y ppl think u work for apple. u sounded like someone that would work for apple. and then u have the best graphics in the world from apple,that a lot of the time,other ppl cant even find on places like google and yahoo and ask.so thats a reason of y ppl think that. but about the post itself,thats pretty cool. they keep coming out w/ stuff AAALLLLLLL the time.

i wish i hadn’t seen the pics of the new nano on the macrumors site a few days back as i would have been more excited, but loving the new colours indeedy! can’t wait for the new iphone software update on friday. hopefully it will fix the lag in text messaging keyboard. steve was a bit vague about what it will include, perhaps they’re still working on it? loving the new curved back to the iPod touch and the extra lil features added are great too. nice to see apple listens to customer feedback! thought keynote was good not great but as ever, steve was very engaging. looking forward to the next biggy, the refresh of the macbooks and pro

@ijustine… despite it may sound weird “funnest”, that word isn’t grammatically incorrect. here is why: a person is funny, so you say he is the funiest guy ever!; but an iPod, or any THING, is fun (to use, watch, listen…), sp you say is the funnest iPod ever… see, simple hah!!
