I like the green dot. It sucks that we have to wait till 10/10.

I have noticed that my adapter is hard to unplug sometimes. My adapter doesn’t have a green dot so should I order a new one?

I went ahead and just ordered mine.

If anyone has this happen, you can pull it out with pair of needle nose pliers.
But make sure you shut off the power to the outlet before you do so.

If that doesn’t work, get a scrap piece of metal like a paperclip, dap some CA (Superglue) on it and let it adhere to the broken spade and then pull it out.

I’m pretty sure you have to contact both spades to get shocked in the first place, but don’t take a chance. Shut off the power at the fusebox before you attempt any extractions.

When I was younger, out of curiosity I touched a plug spade that wasn’t fully plugged in, and let me tell you about a shaky experience.

I had a similar experience, though not with one of these adapters but a Sony Ericsson phone charger. Basically they have 2 plastic prongs either side of the pins to hold it secure while charging. Unfortunately one of the prongs on my charger decided it liked the phone to much, and got stuck! It was bloody difficult to remove too.

Glad to see Apple are sorting this out with little fuss.

Luckily for me, I am behind on the times and still have yet to buy my 3G iPhone. But, at least, when I do, I won’t have this problem!

It sucks when I have to Order 3 adapters and start charging my iPhones using my laptops and computers. Ugh fail.

Looks like I’ll be getting a new 3G USB adapter in October. No little green dot on my plug & I haven’t had any issues with it, but might as well get a new one anyways, just to be on the safe side.

That happened to me TODAY. I was wondering what i was gonna do about it. (Sorry i can’t get you a pic, i took the thing out already)

i managed to break my new break-proof adapter. yay.

also, i had my first iphone-dropping a few moments ago. in unrelated news, i also just changed my boxers.

I’ll break my prongs off my adapter and put them in the wall and put up a picture for you if you want because you’re just amazingly freakin’ awesome! =]
