haha photoshopping an iTunes windows lol Before the 2.1, I used my iPhone backup time as a “time management” tool while working in studio, because it usually takes me 5 hours to create a photoshop collage ^_^ I guess now, I just have to improve my photoshopping time to match up with the shorten backup time as new updates roll out…

That iTunes image sure is pretty!

Alrighty, I’ll update to 2.2 tonight. I wanted to wait and see if anyone had problems before I upgrade. Looks like it’s safe! Thanks for letting us know!

Too bad all the new map features don’t work here in Canada. We don’t have street view yet and the bus thing doesn’t work as well. FAIL.

What’s funny is looking at the google car that took the pictures of the street views.
Google won’t give me walking directions from NY to Cali though. They don’t want me walking over bridges I guess. I did ride my bike over the Verrazano bridge during a 5 boro bike ride. That was fun. Normally you can’t walk or bike over some bridges.
Also, the google search box in Safari is now on the top right like browsers. Emailing the location of a pin is pretty cool too.

O yea, also the public transit option on Google maps directions is really useful if you travel into the City.
Tells you which train and subways to take. Very handy…

Got the update, Love the street view feature. Like the google maps it has been very useful in recent days, other than it doesn’t seam to line up properly with the actual GPS check out this screen shot i just took from my iPhone. I’m sitting in my home, in front of my iMac, and Google Map locates me sitting on the street in front of the empty lot next door.

First time here hope one of these 2 works.

I honestly think Apple keeps releasing stupid updates just so they can cover their @$$ and try to relock all the locked iphones. Probably a legal deal with ATT. I’m not updating. 2.0 still runs fine for me. Gotta love my t-mobile!

I’m not sure if they just added this but I figured out you can take screen shots. By pressing the power button+home screen button at the same time, well press the home screen button first or it will go to sleep.

Glad to get the update but public transport directs in the UK kinda stink, as does the Street View.
I’m shocked your backups are still taking ages. It takes me about 2 minutes to sync, backup and disconnect. Have you tried moving the backup (rather than deleting in case it don’t work) to a different folder, then doing a fresh sync? Maybe you have a bad backup.
