Make a show about making a show - as Andrew Coffey said. I’d be cool to see just how much work it really is to pull together a 3 minute video.

Since you are a hit with the tech world, I think a show about the latest gadgets would be a winner. At first, you won’t have that many gadgets to actually hold, but you can still talk about them, and eventually companies will be sending you gadgets to review.

You can, of course, put your quirky spin on the reviews.

B. Start a quest, Nationwide, to find out what small towns have the most fun. For example; Podunk, IN could pass the time by getting into tractor trailer tires and rolling down steep hills and then try to bail before plummeting into the nasty bog at the bottom. While Podunk, NC could pass the time by cow tipping nude. Your show will cover all the crazy antics of small town “FUN”.

I’ve been thinking that it would be great if someone did a show on the many uses of cotton balls. Each segment you could explore a different use. You could group the segments by function and turn them out over say a week or a month.

For example week one could be cotton ball uses for facial products, week two on the foot. You could do a month on using cotton balls for art projects.

You could work for sponsorship from Johnson&Johnson or a major drugstore chain or craft supplier.

I think you need to do a show called “Tasty Snacks” with iJustine. It would be the first show about snacks, and I don’t mean just food. It could be an interview with an actor or tech person, beautiful scenery, a funny story, a comedy bit… Basically you giving people a “snack of the day”, very brief– that way you could still make the video yourself and/or limited production folks. kinda neat, huh?!

Maybe a YouTuber of the week, you can pick out a random YouTuber, whos videos you like and call them the YouTuber of the week! You should travel to college campuses around the United States and show off what they’ve got to offer. Whether you hit up the campus… the library… the classes… or the more fun side being the bars and the party scenes. I’m sure the fraternities and sororities would love to have you!

From the way I see it Justine, you now have a bank of ideas handed to you since you asked for help. Sooo, I think you should have a general name for your show, first of all. Put all the ideas given to you in a bag, so to speak, pick out an idea and voila! You have a topic for your show each and every episode.

Also, you know how you say you get tons of emails and comments from your fans. Well, personally I’ve always been wondering what they ask you. So near the end of each show or every so often do a “iJ mailbag” episode” so that we all can hear you give feedback.

…those are just some things that came across my mind while I read your blog post for help.

I definitely think it should be a tech-related show. I thought the videos you did for X-Train were great! So, it should be a show where you review popular and new tech gadgets, interview tech people (like Steve Jobs!), and also present humorous yet helpful “How To’s”.

Not everybody has the same video software, but maby you can do something like a weekly tutorial about photo editing, etc. maby with “Photoshop” or one of the free programs like “Paint.net” or “Gimp” where people can follow along. I dont have any other ideas, except maby filming people and stuff in your area.

I think your show should use the name “Tasty Blog Snack,” since your website / blog will more than likely be changing to iJustine.com.

The show could be a weekly or daily video blog centered on things that interest you and that are pertinent to what is happening in the world. If there is some new tech coming out or that has been released, and it something you are excited about, invite guests on the show and talk about it. If there is some place in LA or wherever you travel that you like, do a vlog about that too. Talk about whatever you want, have guests on the show, keep it constant, keep it Justine, and I am sure you will have a hit show in no time. Make sure it is video podcast format too. Good luck with continued brainstorming for show ideas.

Justine, I agree with Josh. A travel show would be interesting, and it seems as though you are always on-the-go, so you’d have plenty of content.

A talk show. Many topics including tech reviews. Social networking and traveling. Travel, and talk with others on how social networking and how todays tech effected thier lives.

Like a few others, I think your show should definitely include introducing the newest and coolest as well as your favorite tech gadgets and websites. It seems like you do some traveling, so you could incorporate that by testing out some of these gadgets in the coolest places.

It would cover how technology (which you love so much) makes our lives easier and in some instances, harder, in our lifestyle choices and pursuits. Could cover everything from home renovating to shopping to holiday’s. You could interview 2 to 5 people an episode and they could give their top 5 tips from their experiences on the chosen topic…

Of course, you could also incorporate your views and trends in your favorite areas. If viewing supports it, you could charge for sponsor ad space.

Viewers can then also email you with things they would like to seeon the show. That way you shouldn’t run out of ideas. Also, appealing to the widest audience.

I say you should do something about tech stuff are maybe even traveling since that is what you mainly do anyway so it is something you most likely enjoy. I also like the idea made at youtube about interviewing random people about the latest happenings in the computer/internet world.

A Show… not about nothing, but a show about having to come up with something, out of nothing… you know, well maybe you don’t, but that’s the show… you know, a show of outtakes, the magic of just boldly stepping out with nothing… & making something. Ok do a show about being press secretary, the catch is this, rather than read the typical Fed/State news, reverse engineer the news that was reported and write the press release that you thought was initially released. so you would come up with the information that they created the story from.

I don’t feel like reading through all the comments above to see if this has already been said, but I think you should do a travel show where you tell people the best pieces of technology to enhance specific travel experiences. (i.e. when someone’s in Hawaii, what kind of camera they should use to take underwater pictures, etc.) You could even use all different types of technologies to show the results of each and have the viewers decide what is the best!

Maybe a Seinfled spinoff “The Show About Nothing”…… the Show About Everything ….. no I think you should do one about Apple Stores. Go to stores all over the place (Holland first preferably, come visit me), meet up with people there and just(ine) talk to them. You’ll get nice stories for sure. Overhere in the Netherlands there is a show calles Hello, Goodbye, where the host goes to the airport and talks to people leaving, going, coming, waiting, crying, laughing…. it’s great stuff!

I already have a post on this comment blog, so it’s up to you if you want to display this or not, etc. I’m not sure but I think your near L.A. and Holywood area, so maby you can do a vid on the walk of stars and then do stuff like show what they did or are doing and then show “Where are they now”. It would be a real kick for us on YouTube to see some “stars” or other interesting people, even “famously unknown” people, in an short interview if possible.

I don’t think you should do a tv show, maybe an internet tv show perhaps. TV is not your medium. I say you continue doing things as you do. However, I think you should start directing music videos. This would better take advantage of all your skills.

We met at the Podcast & New Media Expo in Las Vegas last August. Which IS the show idea: travel to tech conferences & interview attendees & presenters. The current coverage is lacking, and your personality, general tech savvy and inherent popularity will drive the show. Interview & present the new ideas, web & otherwise. Conferences may pick up the tab for the exposure, or a channel like SciFi or Discovery, if well produced. HD for sure, with lots of b-roll from the city behind the event. W. Just an idea. In any case, Have Fun. That is always interesting to watch.

Technology + Travel = A Travel Show that shows off your newest gadgets and how you use them when you travel. Oh wait… you do that already. Yeah. Um.

Coffee + Ketchup + Technology + Travel = … erm.

Junior Mints + Coffee + Ketchup + Technology + Travel = … uh.

Yeah. I’m fresh out of ideas.

That’s a easy question, you seem to like electronics. Do a show that covers the most up to date electronics available to the public. For example the I Phone and its features.. Why people should get one.. What’s so great about having one…? Or the Apple IPod touch… What’s its highlights.. Give some of its features.. And tons of other examples like those…..

Why not, for the sake of being completely ridiculous, get a real job.. something perhaps unenjoyable for most. Minimum wage. And film it. See what happens.

Let’s see you could talk, you are not shy, and you are cute so I think if you find random people and just talk to them and just make it interesting but don’t let it get boring.. because people get bored easily so just do something new every time you are in front the camera. Also finding a partner would be off the hook ;).

Also calling random people while you are recording would be fun to watch. I bet there are a lot of your subscribers that want to talk to you… I’m one of them… It would be fun to see how they reacts to the things you say….
