I think some iPhone app developers might be coming to the Apple store to find me! Haha!

Anyways, was just making a fun little video in the Apple Store and the guy who made Stitcher recognized me. Funny thing is, I actually had this app installed

Guys…. Wake up! Of course it was scripted That said, it still was cool. Howdy to another iPhone Developer on the planet - I just hired 3 other guys to help me out and I think we gonna have a blast working all day long all together with the SDK.

It must be weird - being recognised. I used to run a really successful website once upon a time, and lived in a kind of fear that somebody on the street would recognise me.

Weirdly, it finally happened while on holiday - staying in a retreat in the mountains in Turkey, the owner (a great South African guy) sat opposite me at dinner one night in the middle of nowhere and said in front of everybody “I have been reading you blog today”.

I have been recognized from my twitter because i was mentioning twitter and shawn0 to a friend and then somebody stopped me and said are you shawn0 and i was like OMG YES! and then I was morbidly freaked out because i did not know what to do and i was so scared. I am not used to being found by complete strangers.

Why do I have a feeling this was stagged? I can believe the Stitcher author being in the store and all, but Justine, you’re just too too good that this. And besides, most people would wait until you were done recording before interrupting you. Most. Well, maybe this is “live” but I’m having a hard time believing it.

So you’ve known Mike Ghaffary for over a year and then stage a video pretending that he just saw you at the Apple Store. That’s pretty low.

I know you need to make money to support yourself, but don’t deceive your fans. At least make it clear that this is an ad.

Not sure if this was planned or not, I honestly couldn’t tell, but if not you definitely made that guy feel bad. Don’t make video in the apple store if you don’t want people to confront you or give obviously clues as to who you are.

However, I feel this was definitely staged so nice work, not some of your best, but it made me laugh and I got the app.
