This is such a great cause. I remember Steve talking about a group he met at Sundance a few years ago who were working on building wells in Africa. It was shocking to see how a little bit of money makes such a big difference.

Great project! Much better than a gigantic Inefficient government program. People taking Direct action to make a difference in peoples lives. “Clothe the naked, feed the hungry”….water for those who thirst. Can you imagine.. the dysentery and other waterborne diseases and suffering that can be prevented.

I am positive that your promotion of the cause will lead to a tonne of support and donations. I know that a simple tweet about The Water Project by Greg Grunberg led to a couple hundred dollars in donations. So all of this effort will definitely make a huge difference.

The Water Project is a faith based NPO that has partnered with Charity:Water on a few Well Projects in Africa and we also have our own projects on the go too.

Justine, on twitter you said you were looking for 8GB SD card for D90

Look at A-Data turbo 8GB SD at newegg for 13.49 it is class 6 [part number N82E16820211180] Faster class 6 sd cards are available so it depends on your need for read/write times. If I was at home I would provide more information as I have the D90 and this SD card [along with a few others ]

The fastes lens that I have is a 50mm f1.8 and doing single shot mode the A-data worked fine yet if a f1.4 doing faster shots-haven’t tested.

If cost is not important see the Scan Disk Ultra which the last time I looked was the fastest and most reliable sd card.
