tip: dont use a sharpie to sign it, i tried to sign my iphone (1st gen aluminum case) with a fake Steve Jobs signature and it lasted less than 2 days!! so… yeah… Sharpie + Aluminum = not a great idea!!

What if instead you bought it off Apple’s site and got an engraving on it with a little message to the winner (or found a place to get it engraved)? Or maybe the iJustine logo? I can’t think of a good material to write onto an iPod that wont’ eventually wear.

Good idea on engraving. I’ll check with the auction people and see if that will work. Might be best!

That is so cool! I would loved a signed iPod Nano. May be you could go to one of those real cool paint shops where they would get a stencil with your name and spray it with a very glittery paint! (Like for hotrods!)

I think you should scan your signature and then get that engraved, otherwise it’s possible for people to make knockoffs!
