Tonight I thought I’d check out tinychat because I kept seeing everyone tweeting about it! Wonder why.. because as soon as you enter your twitter information into it.. it spams your twitter profile!!!

It’s a cute little mini chat room that’s created quickly and easily to allow you to connect with your friends. It reminds me a lot of chatterous just with a lot less features.

WARNING! When you enter the chat room for the first time, it will ask you if you want to enter your twitter information. If you do, it will then sent a tweet out on your behalf with a link to the room and inviting everyone to join — WITHOUT EVEN ASKING IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS!

There is nothing that I hate more than a website not giving you a warning that they are sending a twitter to your account or emailing your contacts. I ran into this issue on the first release of the loopt application on the iPhone. This isn’t acceptable.

Hopefully since I think tinychat is fairly new service that they will address this issue because this could be quite a promising little treat. Guess we’ll see. You can bet I will never enter my twitter information into that site EVER again unless it assures me my followers won’t be spammed.. unless I want them to be, that is!

They added a note saying your friends will be alerted if you enter your twitter credentials.

Wow, so many contest have been going on lately! This one has been running for quite awhile and I was lucky enough to be one of the guest judges of the ebillme shopping confessions contest.

You all know how much I love cheeseburgers — but enough to get a bed that looks like one? This is just the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!!
