I’m thinking it depends on what kind of cheese you pair with a banana. American cheese is basically good with … nothing! Mascarpone cheese, yes! It’s like triple cream. Cream cheese, sure whipped with a bit of confectioner’s sugar and milk and you’ve got a great frosting to dip the banana in, maybe a little melted chocolate and banana. Elvis would be thrilled! A fruit and cheese platter with berries, bananas, apples and a variety of cheeses and crackers.

Not so strange, really. But please, step away from the processed “cheese food.”
