bubble tweet

Posted at 6:30 pm | 20 comments

I’ve been seeing people “bubble tweeting” a lot lately and thought I’d finally check it out! It’s a pretty cool little services that allows you to record a video (or upload one from your computer) and it will be displayed in a nice little bubble overlaying your twitter profile!

This is really cool because it doesn’t really take people away from your profile when showing them a little video. There is another site sorta like bubble tweet called vidtweeter that allows you to embed youtube clips that are displayed overlaying your twitter page. Kinda cool!

What do you think?

Last night Brock from studio8 helped me cover the red carpet at the Maxim Hot 100 party and this was the scene as we were leaving the — a crazy paparazzi fest over Heidi and Spencer (if you don’t know who they are, that’s probably better).

And for clarification for those who are confused.. Spencer has a very nice transparent beard sometimes on the “show” The Hills. Thus, why I was letting him know my love for it.

I’ll have an updated video soon as I get it edited of the interviews and how I learned how to make some tasty drinks made from Dr Pepper Cherry inside the event.

Doodle for google

Posted at 10:20 am | 12 comments

I thought this was kinda neat.. Google had a contest asking students K-12 to submit drawings of their logo on the topic “What I Wish for the world”. After checking out some of the artwork, the little kids who are in the running are actually a lot better than than the older kids!

You can vote in each age group for the winners who will get their doodles on the homepage. Voting is from May 11th - 18th.

Went to see Star Trek

Posted at 1:56 am | 29 comments

Oh man, Star Trek was definitely an AWESOME movie! I can’t really say I’ve ever watched an episode (ever) of the show, but that doesn’t really matter. You don’t even need to know a thing about the show to enjoy them movie which was pretty cool.

Hopefully you’ll get a chance to check it out — definitely worth it. Especially if you can see it in IMAX!

Here’s another video of me, Karen and Dennis waiting in line talking about what treats we brought into the movie. Yum yum!

Interview on CurrentTV

Check out this interview I did with @benihoff — it’s pretty funny. It aired yesterday so if you caught it on TV, you are the best!

Finally posted the 10th episode today! This was pretty fun to shoot but now I’m suffering from a bit of a sunburn on my arm. Not sure if you are aware or not, but I haven’t seen the sun in quite awhile. Judging by my lack of a tan.. I’m sure you were!

I definitely got a lot of weird looks while shooting this and made some new sea gull friends. Hope you enjoy!

..and about the contest, sorry guys.. Not point in sending you makeup when a girl would probably enjoy it way more than you!! Ladies, just make a video response to the above video on youtube and I’ll pick someone randomly to send them the bag of treats.

Last, congrats to brads1star for winning the props from the swine flu video. I got a lot of hate for that vid, but hey.. everyone loves controversy :)

Be sure to subscirbe to both of my youtube channels ijustine // otherijustine! I don’t blog a lot of the videos I post on my otherijustine channel, so that’s really the only place you can see those at.

I am LOVING Intel’s new commercials! Their “Sponsors of Tomorrow” commercials are Intel’s biggest marketing campaign in nearly 3 years and it’s the first that highlights the Intel brand and not a specific processor product.

If you tweet these videos, add the hash tag #tomorrow

Quote from their YouTube video:

Rather than focusing on a new product, the 2009 “Sponsors of Tomorrow” ad campaign celebrates what makes Intel different culture, personality, heroes — and ways Intel has helped change the world for over 40 years.

Lemme know what you think — I’m a big fan and can’t stop watching the first one. So funny!

I blogged about this doll a few months ago and was so excited about it! Finally, I got him and now we are best friends… FOREVER!

Today, Steve Jobs and I shot the 10 episode of Ask iJ at the beach. Look for that coming out tomorrow :)

Here we are just hanging out getting a tan. Both Steve and I really need one. Check out the Podbrix website to get your own little Steve!
