Well hello internet. I must say that of everything I’ve shot here this week, this is probably some of my favorite stuff. I got to check out the truck that actually gets every video feed you guys see on TV. They run Linux! Woo!

This is just a wonderful little vlog from my iPhone. I could really post stuff like this all day long.. but I won’t.

These are some fun clips that I got yesterday during my running around town. This entire production is AMAZING and it’s so impressive to see what all goes into this show. Hopefully I’ll be able to get more fun stuff today to share with you guys.

Hi guys! Just wanted to post a quick little blog entry and let you know that I did in fact make it to NY alive. I’m a bit jet lagged.. but alive and vlogging like crazy!

Anyways, this is where I’ll be broadcasting from Sunday during the preshow.. Yeah, right there.. Up on top of the Radio City sign! Don’t tell anyone, but I’m kind of afraid of heights. Eeeeek!

This is a quick iPhone shot from inside Radio City during some VMA rehearsals today.

Will be posting a little day 1 video as soon as I am done editing it. And, sorry if I’m overwhelming some of you with all the VMA stuff

I’ve only skimmed a few articles about the Apple announcements today, but it seems one of the big highlights was that Steve Jobs was well enough to be on stage and give a presentation! I love you Steve!

He thanked the community for their support and told everyone about his liver transplant. He said he now has the liver of a 20 year old who died in a car crash.

One of the coolest announcements though are these new iPod nanos that have a video camera!

This is really awesome because people who don’t have an iPhone can now enjoy the video capabilities on the go. That’s one less device that you’ll have to carry around

The only downfall is that the nano’s don’t have wifi so you won’t be able to share videos as easily as you can on an iPhone. If they would have put this video camera on the iPod touch, there would probably be no reason for anyone to buy an iPhone anymore.. Most of the time I end up carrying around my Verizon mifi and using that on my iPhone because AT&T is so spotty with their coverage.

So I’m finally able to tell you guys what I’m doing in NY! I’m going to be the twitter correspondent during the VMA preshow! Yay!

I’ve always wanted to do something fun with technology on TV and this is definitely perfect. I’ll be attempting to make sense what everyone is tweeting about during the preshow. Here is their explanation in the press release:

“We’re also introducing to the fold our first-ever Twitter correspondent, Justine Ezarik — a.k.a. iJustine, the Internet comedienne and proud holder of over 620,000 Twitter followers. She’ll be integrating Twitter updates into the TV broadcast in a way you’ve truly never seen before. This won’t just be a plain old scroll of tweets, but a live visualization of trends — and it promises to be very cool.”
