What I hate are this people who, after standing in line for 5 minutes, walk up to the counter and then (!) start looking at the menu. You can get real philosophers there. I especially remember one situation, also at a Burger King, which went like that:
“What can I get you?” - “Hm ….” - 10-20 second pause - “Have you decided yet?” - “I think I’ll take the …” - another pause - and then! the girl behind the counter just left! Just walked away! And the guy didn’t even notice. After another moment, he asked something about the food, like “Does it come with fries?” After he got no answer he looked down from the menu, surprised the girl was gone…

Airport burger kings are the worst. Takes BK 2x longer to make food, and everyone is grumpy, indecisive. I usually stick with the nuts and berrys at the newspaper shops.

Speaking of Value Meals….Most McDonalds overcharge for some value meals and no one seems to care. Try this: Order a 2 Egg McMuffin Value Meal with a Sweet Tea. It will usually cost $5.50-$6.00. Then ask the order person to cancel it and put the items in separately. It will total about $.75 less. Some value.

The reason is that they charge $1.99 for the Sweet Tea in a Value Meal even though the menu board says “Sweet Tea $1.00″.

I’ve argued with 2 different McD’s managers about the absurdity of charging more for a combo than if the items were bought separately but they just say that the computer does it that way and there’s nothing they can do.

Try it at McD’s IJ and record the manager trying to explain it. It should be interesting.

I hate when people wait in line for like 10 minutes with the menu board in front of them. Then they get to the front of the line and the cashier says, “what can I get you”. Then the person says “weeeeelll, I’m not sure.”

I mean seriously. If you are waiting in line read the effing menu!!!
