Okay so I can’t believe I haven’t even posted a blog entry about this — I know most of you guys have probably already seen the full episode of my Price is Right appearance, but if you haven’t.. CLICK HERE for the full episode

Sorry to anyone who isn’t in the US.. you can’t watch on their site. I’ll throw together some highlights from it when I get a chance!

This is the video from the day we filmed this episode months ago. For months we had to keep it a secret that I won the showcase! I’m so excited because I finally have a new real computer to edit on.

Congratulations on winning the showcase & all of the prices as well! I’m from the Philippines & I’ve been watching your vids on youtube. I hope you can upload another ask IJ episode. It’s really my fave.

How does it feel like being a contestant of the price is right & did you expect winning when you guessed $1?

I like that computer which you won Its such a perfect piece of technology, Everything which havent apple on back, shouldnt be bad Like Windows 7 its actually very good system or a lot of HP laptops are same good like apple MAC book:)

but my question is:
What do you do with your super real pc?
My shot is you make sacriface for Steve:D lol

Wow.. that sounds so awesome to have been on Price is Right! I know it was so cool to actually be on the set! was Drew Carey funny? I had to get used to him in the beginning, Bob Barker was the man for so long!

Congrats Justine, a nice Mac Pro you scored there. A great show and as with all videos you feature in, I had a good laugh.

After much saving I bought a Mac Pro earlier this year and it beats the pants off my MacBook Pro. So much faster for video work in Final Cut. If you take the stock drive out and put in 4 big ones in a RAID 10, it’ll fly for video editing. I love it.

FYI I watched this episode by tunnelling though a VPS I have in the US.

I was sweating it out after you were in the first group and missed the price of a digital camera and the Prada shoes. But what a smart play on the last bid and you did a great job with the showcase. Much better showcase and much smarter bidding. Congrats!

Your video made it seem like you were bummed you missed the earlier taping but it’s actually more special that you were on the 7000th show. Congrats!!!

It’s very cool you got to be on, and WIN the whole thing, but I can’t help being left with the feeling that The Price Is Right is a total set up!
I realize the price guess parts are all you, but getting called up… that part had to be rigged. What are the chances??

It was fun watching you play, but it’s a bummer to think the show might be rigged.

I don’t have cable and watch over the air TV. I recorded the digital TV from this show (as I was at work) to DVD and edited out some of the show. I could not believe that Justine won. Good for you!

For those of you saying this seemed kinda “set up” you might be surprised to know that the contestant selection process isn’t TOTALLY random.

I was actually wondering about that myself and now I’m wondering that since they knew Justine was going to be on the show if they put that Apple computer in the showcase just for her or if they modify the prizes based on who they preselect as contestants (not who wins, just in case they do win).

It’s still awesome anyway you look at it. Congrats, Justine!
