So here’s my brief little review of Apple’s iPad. It’s a nifty little device but is definitely lacking a few things. My #1 complaint: no camera!!!!

It also doesn’t have any ports, can’t view flash, and you can’t run multiple applications.

Other than that.. it’s a big awesome iPod touch. I will definitely be getting one.. which, I’m not sure.. I’m too tired to think about that right now

WAITING FOR IPAD!!!

Wow, I had to keep this a secret for 3 days!! 3 entire days!!!!! Finally I can tell you guys the winners of the Nikon Festival contest.

This has been such an awesome project because not only did we have the chance to give away a nice prize to two people.. I have been so inspired by many of the 140 second videos (and even some of you who that people submitted for this contest. There are so many talented people out there that I might not have had the chance to see their work if it wasn’t for this contest.

Congrats to the winners! Big thanks to Chase Jarvis for being in my video. We wished that Rainn could have made it out to Sundance, but we did get a chance to see his new movie Hesher.

Hesher was an amazing film. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie that left me so emotionally drained. I cried, laughed.. cried a little more while laughing and crying again. I posted a little clip of an interview with the the director Spencer Susser in the video above. Yeah, I know.. it’s a long video but get over your ADD!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt talking about his hitrecord.org project (an amazing collaborative online community) before the film. He might be my new hero. Sad that I didn’t get a chance to meet him.

Sundance has been amazing. We shot our video from this amazing Stein Eriksen lodge. I think I might try to move in there.

Since I’ve never been here before, I wasn’t aware that if you don’t have a car.. you’ll be spending a large portion of of time taking cabs or freezing while waiting for a shuttle

Randomly walked past this Shear Genius salon. Sadly I was in a hurry and didn’t get to check it out.. but did have time for a quick picture!!

Wow! Sundance is so much fun! This is my first time here and it’s such an amazing event. Not only is it amazingly beautiful here.. everyone is so friendly!

One of the biggest problems sometimes in the app store is trying to find a good app to download. Apple does a great job of featuring fun apps and games, but there are a lot of great apps that go noticed.

Chomp is designed to take applications that you review and like and give you recommendations based off of your previous ratings. What makes this unique is that you can follow your friends and see what apps they are currently liking and disliking.

It’s a great way to find out fun little app store secrets that you never knew existed.
