Have you ever wanted to accept credit card payments? Oh, you have? Great because now you can with Square!

It’s not out yet but will be soon!

What do you think? I think it’s pretty much the coolest thing ever!

But euhm… how much does the square cost ? And I guess the iphoooooonneee was connected to the internet via wifi ?
I guess it also uses encryption ? But kind ? Doh..
de1ta on Feb 9th 2010 at 3:05 pmThis is one big step in the right direction. One day I hope that I will be able to just push the “accept” button on my iPhone when purchasing something in the store and get the receipt in my mailbox without any credit cards at all!
Great review as always Justine!
Cheers!
unstereotyped on Feb 9th 2010 at 3:05 pmMy brother, who is self-employed might just love this…now if only he had an iPhone.
Dwayne holmwood on Feb 9th 2010 at 3:05 pmThat just blew my mind. I want one!
Christopher on Feb 9th 2010 at 3:05 pmHow much does it cost? I might want one it looks really cool!
Mike on Feb 9th 2010 at 3:05 pmI’d love to know what the fees are. If reasonable, this could be great for people that do fairs and the like. They pay the highest rates because they often handwrite the charges and process them at home. The site mentions the “Fees” section, but I could not find it. So, what was the overhead on that $1.00 transaction ?
Dakota O'Neill on Feb 9th 2010 at 3:05 pmVery cool, Saw Kevin Rose demo it on his site and diggnation a while back and it will definitely make a huge difference on how we buy and sell things!
Victoria on Feb 9th 2010 at 3:05 pmthats pretty coool

Cory on Feb 10th 2010 at 3:05 pmIt seems to me that this is not just and iphone product but can be used on other phones and it is wireless or wifi. The fees are show to you when you make the charge. This will really help the smalll business owner like photographers and artists.
Rick on Feb 10th 2010 at 3:05 pmThat is seriously an awesome app!
Especially for the new business owners and future business men/women of tomorrow!
Great App review! It’s actually useful and not a stupid App like iFart!
Mike on Feb 12th 2010 at 3:05 pmThis is going to be great for artists and people selling in places like Union Square, NY. Cut paypal out of mix and just make it much easier to sell to people quickly. I’m really excited about this.
Macie on Feb 13th 2010 at 3:05 pmThis is cool. justin hi, im maice(:

Colby on Feb 14th 2010 at 3:05 pmHey, if it isn’t out yet how did you get ahold of one???? I want one baaaaad. If you got it through some kind of “I’ll review it for you on the internet” thing, can u give a number to call so I can review it too? XD I know that’s not likely but worth a try!
Alex Suffolk Photographer on Feb 15th 2010 at 3:05 pmLooks like a cool app, though I’m guessing it’s only for the US at the moment.
It would certainly be a great way to be able to take wedding deposits at fairs!
Alex
Kelsey on Feb 18th 2010 at 3:05 pmWow, this looks amazing! Cannot wait till it actually comes out, this will make selling my stock at fairs so much easier, because I will be able to take credit rather than just cash or check.
