Today was quite eventful and should allow for a few multimedia blog updates the next few days.
Beaver County Times [ timesonline.com ] and Go Magazine [ goburgh.com ] did an interview with me today about the various things I've been up to (our videos, the internet, Yahoo Talent Show, Macworld, etc).
After all was said and done, they mentioned that one of their favorite videos was the Parkour sketch Desiree and I did. I quickly called her up to join us and we taught them our version of Parkour.
Look for the Beaver Times parkour instruction / interview video tomorrow.
Check out our friends in Renzhe Parkour that we met via the Yahoo Talent Show if you want to see some real skills!
Last but not least, the iPhone video is currently featured on Yahoo Video:
First things first.. Ben gave me my first Google shirt. Thank you! Mark this day in history.
Secondly, I just got back to my hotel room with all intentions of heading to bed. First the various email/social networks needed checking and then to Jumpcut to see if there are any new videos. Well, Weibel has been creating some great candid CES shorts for the past week, and I just noticed there was a parkour CES spoof!
Now, you may or may not have seen the spoof video Desiree and I created about about our friends who actually do parkour. Just in case you missed it, you can view our video right here:
Alright NOW check out the CES spoof version live from Vegas compliments of Weibel:
That was amazing. You guys are great.
[ "What is all this parkour nonsense you've been talking about?"
Well, to keep it short and sweet, parkour is running, jumping, climbing and other complex techniques inspired by human movement over, under, around and through obstacles in one's environment. The goal of parkour is to adapt one's movement to any given obstacle in one's path. ]
Enough about parkour, you say.. more about MACWORLD! That will all be coming up in the next few days. To get your Mac fix that was not fed in this post, feel free to visit MacBreak on twit.tv for some amazing coverage by some amazing people including Leo Laporte, Merlin Mann, Scott Bourne, Alex Lindsay, John Foster, and Kendra Arimoto and I.
Tomorrow is the very last day of Macworld. I'll be checking in one last time before my flight to see if there is anything that I may have missed. After that, it's back to the east coast. Tragic.
