I know I’m a few weeks late.. but I really did have this idea for this song the instant I figured out who that dude was up on stage that stole the mic from Taylor. Since I haven’t had enough time to actual make a real music video and write the entire song, this little clip will have to do :) You get the point, right?!

Keep asking those questions and making those video responses. And before you get all question crazy, maybe take a trip back through memory lane to see if I’ve answered one already ;)

Esquire House soho

Posted at 3:03 pm | 28 comments

Wow wow wow.. last week while I was in NY I shot a little something for Blue Microphones at the Esquire House in SoHo. Now if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you might remember when I visited the one in Hollywood with Intel (if not, then click here for a little refresher).

Well, after our little shoot they let me take a tour of the place and I ran around pretty much just saying “omg” and “awesome” 50 million times. Everything is pretty much perfect. I did a little googleing and they’ve been doing this since 2003 — taking a home or condo and turning it in an Esquire House (ultimate bachelor pad).

I said I’d kindly sublet a room.. a bathroom or even a little tiny corner space if they wanted :)

Oh, and the awesome bar was designed by Brad! Check out his site here: bradascalon.com

NO BUS TOUR!

Posted at 9:36 am | 48 comments

I’ve been having so much fun in NY (and I probably have about a weeks worth of videos to post from various events) but the one thing that I just CAN’T get over is the amount of people trying to get you to go on a bus tour in Times Square.

This is just a little recap of that situation you’ll find yourself in if you’ve ever been there or plan to go there.

I’ve been to exhausted to edit my own video.. so thankfully MTV was faster than me :) Here’s a little recap with the twitterless and facebook photoless Tim Kash!

You can also read a blog entry they wrote about the twitter technology on their mtv blog.

Well hello internet. I must say that of everything I’ve shot here this week, this is probably some of my favorite stuff. I got to check out the truck that actually gets every video feed you guys see on TV. They run Linux! Woo!

Anyways, let me know what you think and I’ll see you guys on Sunday at 8 :)

VMA Behind the Scenes

Posted at 12:27 pm | 11 comments

These are some fun clips that I got yesterday during my running around town. This entire production is AMAZING and it’s so impressive to see what all goes into this show. Hopefully I’ll be able to get more fun stuff today to share with you guys.

Thanks so much for always being so supportive — I wouldn’t be here with you!! xoxo

^^ lol, and I meant without you :) I was typing quite quickly earlier when I wrote this!

MTV VMA’s

Posted at 3:58 pm | 16 comments

Hi guys! Just wanted to post a quick little blog entry and let you know that I did in fact make it to NY alive. I’m a bit jet lagged.. but alive and vlogging like crazy!

Anyways, this is where I’ll be broadcasting from Sunday during the preshow.. Yeah, right there.. Up on top of the Radio City sign! Don’t tell anyone, but I’m kind of afraid of heights. Eeeeek!

This is a quick iPhone shot from inside Radio City during some VMA rehearsals today.

Will be posting a little day 1 video as soon as I am done editing it. And, sorry if I’m overwhelming some of you with all the VMA stuff :)

I’ve only skimmed a few articles about the Apple announcements today, but it seems one of the big highlights was that Steve Jobs was well enough to be on stage and give a presentation! I love you Steve!

He thanked the community for their support and told everyone about his liver transplant. He said he now has the liver of a 20 year old who died in a car crash.

One of the coolest announcements though are these new iPod nanos that have a video camera!

This is really awesome because people who don’t have an iPhone can now enjoy the video capabilities on the go. That’s one less device that you’ll have to carry around :)

The only downfall is that the nano’s don’t have wifi so you won’t be able to share videos as easily as you can on an iPhone. If they would have put this video camera on the iPod touch, there would probably be no reason for anyone to buy an iPhone anymore.. Most of the time I end up carrying around my Verizon mifi and using that on my iPhone because AT&T is so spotty with their coverage.

Few other updates!

• New iTunes 9 plus a new redesigned store! Download it here
• iPhone 3.1 OS upgrade with genius capabilities for new app discovery

(I’m on a plane and my battery is about to die so sorry to cut this entry short)
