There are lots of new websites popping up everyday.. most of them are terrible ideas or just a copy of something else that’s already been done… BUT I recently fell upon blippy and was quite skeptical at first mostly because the initial premise I gathered was “enter your credit card and we’ll syndicate out what you purchase to a feed” — eek!!!!

That totally freaked me out. Really? You want me to give you my credit card and then everyone will know all the useless things I’ve bought and shouldn’t?!?! Haha!

Well, that’s actually not the case because you don’t HAVE to give them that info to still use the website. I’ve been using it quite obsessively to track my iTunes purchases which I think is pretty awesome. Every purchase you make, it’ll populate it and allow people to make comments.

It doesn’t work with just iTunes.. they also allow you to link up your zappos, godaddy, netflix, winelibrary, godaddy seamlessweb and of course if you really wanna get crazy, you can link up your credit, debit or bank account and let everyone know every purchase you make!

I had 50 invites.. but they are already gone. You guys are fast!

I had a lot of ideas for a Christmas video but didn’t get to make the interactive one I had hoped, so this is my second best.. another #1 hit single coming at you!!! Hahaha. Yes, it is complete with auto-tune and cheesy graphics, but I also wanted to include some of you guys as well!

Just make a video of you unwrapping a present and being disappointed with what’s inside.. also, if you feel like dancing, dress up in some Christmas gear and dance away! As I said in the video, bonus points for snow

Just add it as a video response to the above video on youtube and title it “ijustine christmas collab clips” or something similar so I’ll be able to find it amongst spammers!

Met wil.i.am this past weekend at a Holiday party… even though I met him before at the Black Eye Peas charity concert Pea Pod last year, I doubt he remembered.

…BUT, he did say he saw my “I Gotta Feeling” spoof video which was awesome!!

Woo woo! So a few weeks ago I went over and visit Katalyst (that’s Ashton’s production company). I was very excited because I got the good news that his show The Beautiful Life was going to be released online.

Funny story (ok maybe not that funny.. but whatever) — a few months ago when I was in NY shooting for Law and Order I started watching TBL on iTunes. While I was on set I started talking to a few people about other shows I watched.. I mentioned that I just got into this new show called The Beautiful Life. Everyone laughed at me because apparently I was the last to find out it had been canceled!!!

Crying, I went back to my hotel and read the sad news for myself.

Now, months later the show is being released online for everyone to watch. I’m pretty excited because even though I just recently joined the rest of the world by getting cable.. I still get almost all of my television content from youtube, hulu, iTunes and netflix.

This is amazing because there are a lot of shows that just didn’t cut it on TV but could have an amazing life online.. and probably get more views!

People aren’t watching TV like they used to. There are so many other ways to get your content than having to schedule your life around a time that a show is on at a specific time.

Listen up network tv.. the times are’a changin’!!! ..but I think they are already well aware of this!

As you guys know I’m a judge for the Nikon Festival contest and I’ve had such an amazing time watching all of the videos submitted.. Okay, I haven’t watched all of them yet, but now that the submissions are closed I can finally catch up.

Just in case you didn’t see the videos by the other two judges Chase Jarvis and Rainn Wilson.. I just wanted to share those with you because they are amazing! The first video is Rainn’s and below is Chase’s video.

Here was my video if you missed it before. I shot this all by myself on the 3rd st promenade with my Nikon D90, the new HD Coolpix S70 and a tripod. Yes, I did get made fun of quite a bit for dancing around like a crazy person!

Good luck to all of the people who entered and don’t forget to start spamming out your video on December 21st to get votes for the audience choice contest. I can’t wait to see more of these videos. You guys all have done such a great job with the vids!

Last, here is a fun little interview that I did with Rainn Wilson about the contest. He’s pretty much the most hilarious person ever.

I’ve been a huge Third Eye Blind fan since.. well you know, back in the 90s I saw a tweet from 3eb a few weeks about about having a show in San Francisco and quickly got on that!!!

This show was a benefit for Stephan Jenkins’ new nonprofit called True Meaning. It’s a store created to end poverty. As Stephan told me briefly when I met him in the video above “It’s the first luxury philanthropy store. Inside the are 12 gifts that can change the world and the next holiday season you can go in and shop for a gift for someone you love.. or for someone you will never meet”

They didn’t play all of their hits, but it was still a great show! The first few songs 3eb performed was with the Magik*Magik Orchestra and was really different and amazing.

Yes, I’m all fan girl here.. leave me alone!

The restaurant that we went to at the end of this video was called Nopa, for those who were asking. It’s a great late night place in San Francisco that I definitely recommend checking out if you’re ever in the area!

As some of you know I’ve been involved in a fun project with Intel for two years. It’s called the “Intel Insiders”. It consists of a bunch of people who are very involved in the social media space and we help Intel to better connect with online audiences who are interested in technology. In the past I’ve participated in a bunch of events including last year at CES and some fun projects like the mobile manners campaign.

I’m very proud to be involved in this great group! They recently were named by the Society for New Communication Research as the Influencer Relations program of the year which is really exciting! You can read more about it here in this blog post.

Last, back on topic of computer buying.. as a lot of you guys know it’s not an easy thing for most people to just go out and get a computer unless you’re knowledgeable on the subject.
